This morning everyone at Van Allen got the opportunity to watch a juggling act from New York City called the Gizmo Guys put on a performance. They incorporated some math and science into the entertaining and funny act. Here a couple of videos.

Bloomsbury Farm

What a wonder day for our field trip to Bloomsbury. We could not have asked for better weather. The kids got to play in a western town, a giant corn box, take a hayrack ride, plant a flower, play on a jumping pillow, explore a tire maze, and go down a large tube slide. Below you will find a plethora of pictures and videos from our day.

Discovering how boxes are put together

In science this afternoon we took some time to explore boxes and discover how they are put together. We did this by slowing taking them apart where they were glued. After we took them apart everyone traced their box. We are going to glue the boxes back together on Friday. Thanks to everyone for donating some boxes for this exploration.
